A daunting title when you see it written like that, but it is correct, we are already half-way through the year and so we thought that now would be a fantastic opportunity to reflect on what 2026 has looked like for the Vale of Pickering Caravan Park.

The year so far according to you, our customers. Whilst the site in general is praised for its “great location and a peaceful ambience” (R Miller, 2026).  The most notable highlights from customer reviews attest to the “friendly and helpful staff” (N Robshaw, 2026), and the “fantastic facilities that were both modern and exceptionally clean” (N Watson, 2026). These reviews and our customer satisfaction is key to what makes the Vale of Pickering the site that it is, and we are very grateful for the outstanding feedback we have received so far this year.

Having just completed the annual ‘back-to-back’ bank holiday weekend month of May, we can safely say, we were more than thrilled that the English weather pulled through for us and our campers got to enjoy the site in all its glory.

We are further thrilled to announce that we have secured a partnership with the wonderful Scampston Hall & Walled Garden, located only 7 miles from the site. Staying guests at The Vale of Pickering can now benefit from discounted entry to the grounds and walled garden at the attraction, something we are very privileged to share with you.
