Vale of Pickering Caravan Park Rules



These Park Rules are in place for the good management of The Vale of Pickering Caravan Park and the benefit of all who use it. They should be read alongside your booking Terms and Conditions. You are reminded that breach of these rules may result in the cancelling/termination of your holiday.

You must make sure that anyone using the park (including any day visitors) are aware of the Park Rules. 


Safety

We are a busy working dairy and arable farm with heavy machinery using the access road so please ensure your              children are accompanied when crossing roads and we ask that children do not play or ride their bikes around the          busy site entrance.

We do not allow open fires of any kind. This includes fire pits, grates, chimineas and the use of a barbeque as a fire            after cooking. 

In case of emergencies whilst on site please see the instructions in the reception doorway. 

Security

During the main season the barrier at the park entrance locks on an evening at 11:30pm and re-opens at 6:30am                from the 1st November it locks at 11pm and re-opens 7.00am.

The owners of The Vale of Pickering Caravan Park are absolved of all liability for accidents and from responsibility              for loss or damage to personal property. Your caravan must be insured for fire and third-party liability. 

Your pitch 

You are responsible for keeping the area around you on your pitch in the same condition as you found it.

You are solely responsible for securing your property.

You must not erect any kind of external additions to your accommodation other than that which you have booked            for.

Occupiers

Your accommodation/pitch may only be used by the number of people declared on the booking.

We have a policy of a maximum of three dogs per pitch/booking and ask that dogs are always kept on a lead on              the site, including around your own pitch. 

You must ensure that you clean up if your animal defecates on the site.

All dogs must be supervised by and under the control of you, or a responsible adult at all times. You must not leave          any pet unsupervised in your caravan. 



Behaviour

All visitors have the right to a quiet and peaceful stay with us therefore excessive noise, unruly behaviour or bad                language will not be tolerated. Noise should be kept to a minimum and cease entirely by 11pm. Anyone causing                  disruption beyond this time will be asked to leave the park (no refunds). 

This behaviour and noise policy extends to the behaviour of all dogs and pets.

        Group Bookings and associated bookings are not accepted (see terms and conditions)

Vehicles

Only 1 car is permitted on your pitch at any-time. Any second vehicles must be declared on booking and parked in            the designated car parking area on the camping field. 

You must not park on the grass by your pitch if a hard standing is available or on the roadsides.

All vehicles must abide by the 10mph speed limit in all areas on the park.

Electric cars cannot be charged at the park by any means, including the use of your electric hook up. 

We do not allow commercialised vehicles on site unless by prior arrangement. No transit vans or flatbed trucks.

Amenities

The amenity block is cleaned daily between 11am and 1pm (times may differ slightly). Please do not try and enter              any areas which are closed for cleaning- not all areas will be closed at the same time. 

Recreation

Balls games can only be played on the designated football field.

Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the play area and football field.

The football field and play area close at 10pm.

You must not use the park address for postal deliveries unless it is urgent. 

You must not wash cars with a hosepipe on site.

Quad bikes, electric scooters and hoverboards are not permitted on the park. 

Water pistols and water bombs are not allowed on the site as they cause annoyance to other guests.

The use of drones is strictly prohibited.

Calor gas can be exchanged in the shop during opening hours only.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available free of charge under ‘Vale of Pickering’ (no password required). 

The service is suitable for browsing only, not streaming. 

Photography

We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional purposes. Should you not wish to appear in any                          material please inform us.
