Hawthorn Glamping is a proud part of the Vale of Pickering Caravan Park, a family-owned and operated 5-star holiday park that has been offering unforgettable touring and camping experiences since 1985. As we embarked on our glamping journey in 2017, we have since expanded to include three exquisite Belle tents and a luxurious Mega Eco Pod.
Nestled within the breath-taking beauty of North Yorkshire, our surrounding area truly captures the essence of "God's Own County." We cordially invite you to unwind and immerse yourself in our cherished "Happy Place," where lasting memories are created amidst the serenity of nature.
Lotus Belle Tent Deluxe
Our Deluxe Lotus Belle Tents:
Indulge in the charm of our two spacious 5-meter Deluxe Lotus Belle tents, perfect for accommodating 2 adults and 2 children. Each tent is thoughtfully furnished with a double bed and two single fold-out beds, ideal for children. You are welcome to bring a travel cot or additional bed for another child if needed.
To ensure a comfortable and memorable stay, our bell tents come fully equipped with the following amenities:
- Matting and rugs
- Cozy throws and cushions
- Hot water bottles
- Mattress protectors
- Crockery and cutlery
- Gas stove with kettle
- Lanterns and fairy lights
- Washing up essentials
- Cool box with ice packs
- Picnic bench and parasol
- Charcoal BBQ
Please note that bedding (such as sleeping bags, duvets, sheets, and pillows) is not provided, and guests are required to bring their own. Additionally, pans and sharp knives are not included in the equipment.
We kindly remind our guests that pets are not permitted, and these units do not have access to electricity.
Eco Mega Pod

We are excited to present our latest addition – the Eco Pod, designed to comfortably accommodate two adults and two children. Combining modern comforts with sustainable features, this unique space promises a memorable and enjoyable stay.
The Eco Pod offers:
- A comfortable double bed and a versatile double sofa bed, ensuring peaceful nights and efficient use of space.
- A well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, gas hob, and all necessary crockery and cutlery for your convenience.
- Toilet (waterless), shower, and basin for a refreshing experience.
- A cosy ethanol fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings.
- Energy-efficient LED lighting and USB charging points to keep your devices powered and ready for use.
Bedding and towels are provided for two adults, while we kindly ask that you bring bedding for your children. Immerse yourself in this thoughtfully crafted space that prioritizes both comfort and sustainability during your stay.
