Camping at The Vale of Pickering
Our picturesque grassed camping areas are level, well-drained, and perfect for your next outdoor getaway. We offer camping pitches on the main park and also on the adjoining camping field.
For added convenience, a limited number of tent pitches come with 6 amp electric hook-ups. Please note that these hook-ups are suitable for low wattage appliances only and must be pre-booked.
Our tent pitches are positioned away from the children's play area.
While pre-booking isn't essential for most of the season, we highly recommend reserving your pitch in advance for bank holidays, school holidays, and weekends with special events in the area. Our main facilities block is centrally located, with the furthest pitch being just a short 3-minute walk away. Enjoy breathtaking views of the local countryside from the camping field, adding to your memorable experience at The Vale of Pickering.

Spacious all weather touring pitches are suitable for touring caravans, motor-homes, camper vans and trailer tents up to a maximum length of 27ft. Our pitches are level and well drained. We have 2 chemical disposal points and a drive-up motor home waste water point.
We pre-allocate pitches on booking and will always try our best to meet any requests made. Pre-booking is not always necessary but is advisable during bank holidays, school holidays, special local events and at weekends. Touring pitches have a 10amp electric hook up supply. Some touring pitches overlook the children’s play area and several are close to the shower block. We also offer a store and stay facility where you can leave your caravan with us and link 2 or 3 weekends together or leave your caravan with us for a longer period. Our centrally heated wash-rooms are situated in a central location within the park.
If you require public transport the nearest bus stop is 1.25 miles from the park entrance (approx 30 min walk). The EYMS bus route timetable can be found here and the bus stop is Allerston(Cayley Arms) We also have taxi numbers available in reception.
