TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT

All bookings require a £30.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking or payment in full if the cost of the holiday is less than £30.00 or the holiday is due to start in less than 7 days.

BALANCE

Outstanding balances are payable 7 days prior to your booking arrival date. You will receive a balance payment reminder 2 days prior to your balance due date. Your balance can be paid online by following the link in your reminder e-mail or by calling 01723 859280. We accept cash and most major debit and credit cards (not Amex).

CANCELLATION OF THE HOLIDAY BY YOU

You may cancel your holiday at any time. Cancellations are effective from the date received by us. Deposits paid are non-refundable. If you cancel your holiday 7 days prior to your arrival date you may change the date of your stay within the same holiday year subject to availability. Cancellations received with less than 7 days’ notice are not entitled to any change of date or refund of monies paid. We recommend taking out holiday insurance that will cover you in the event of cancellation. Your booking can only be changed once.

CANCELLATION OF THE HOLIDAY BY US

If we have to cancel your booking for any unforeseen circumstance before your arrival, you will receive a full refund of any monies paid or offer you alternative dates.

EARLY DEPARTURE

If you choose to leave the park before your departure date for whatever reason (inc. weather) no refunds/credits will be given for the remaining days of your booking.

PITCH REQUESTS

We will make every effort to accommodate customer requests wherever possible but cannot guarantee a certain pitch.

GROUP BOOKINGS

The maximum booking size is 2 individual units together and only with acceptance via telephone. This includes individual/separate bookings that are associated with each other. Group bookings are not accepted online. On arrival any persons forming a group on the site without prior acceptance will be asked to leave the site with no refunds offered.

VEHICLES

Only 1 car is permitted per pitch. Any second vehicles are to be booked in at reception and parked in the car park (chargeable). Commercial vehicles by prior arrangement only and you will be asked to park in the car park and not at your pitch. Transit vans and flatbed trucks are not permitted.

Quad bikes, trials bikes, hoverboards and powered scooters are not permitted at The Vale of Pickering.

DOGS  

Please do not leave your dogs unattended on site at any time.

DRONES

We do not authorise the flying of drones at The Vale of Pickering Caravan Park

QUIET TIME

We operate a no noise policy after 11pm and before 8am. Please ensure all members of the booking are aware of this.

FIRES

Fires of any kind are strictly prohibited, this includes fire pits, chimineas and using your BBQ as a fire after cooking. You may use disposable BBQ's if you do not sit them directly on the grass as doing so will cause the grass to scorch.

The Park owners are absolved of all liability for accidents, loss, or damage to guest’s personal property. We reserve the right to ask guests not observing the terms and park rules to leave the park without refunds and with immediate effect.

DATA PROTECTION

The information taken at the time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing your reservation with us. We may process your data to keep you informed of our activities and to keep you updated with news, offers and other information that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information for the marketing purposes described in this paragraph, please let us know. We may also disclose your data to Campstead Ltd who may contact you, inviting you to complete a questionnaire and review regarding your stay at our park.
