DOG WALK
At The Vale of Pickering Caravan Park, we know holidays are even better when your furry friend is with you. Our spacious six acre dog walking area offers the perfect place for them to stretch their legs, complete with sweeping views across the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds to the south and towards the edge of Dalby Forest to the North. It is also one of the best spots on the park to enjoy our stunning west facing sunsets.
Dogs are welcome to explore the dog walk off lead, giving them plenty of space and freedom however we kindly ask that for everyone's comfort and safety, dogs remain on lead whilst on the main caravan park and near your pitch. Please do not leave your dogs unattended on site.
We welcome up to 3 dogs per pitch for a small daily supplement.
You will find plenty of dog bins both around the park and along the dog walk to help keep the area clean and enjoyable for all.
After a fun day out or a particularly muddy adventure our dog wash located at the rear of the amenities block is on hand for rinsing off sandy or muddy paws. (Please note: this facility is not available during the winter months)

The staff are all super friendly the site in general is spotless , grass, bushes, trees are are maintained very regularly along with bins all emptied on a daily basis no mess anywhere . The toilet and shower facilities are second to none without a doubt the best we have been to and these are also kept spotless at all times I cannot sing the parks praises highly enough and the doggy field our boy loved it , we will definitely return hopefully later this year but it will be one of our regular stays from now on.

This was our second trip to the Vale of Pickering, it is family friendly but we tend to go out of season and again we found the site to friendly with super clean facilities, the pitch was big enough for your caravan and car along side, we love the fact that the site is handy for not only a trip to the moors or the coast, the site has a large playing field with a dog walk around the outside of it, with plenty of bins around site for their waste and even a dog wash.

Friendly Welcome. The facilities were A1 and the dogs loved the chance to have fun in the fields. 5/5. Everything a camper needs in a beautiful surrounding.
