CARAVAN STORE & STAY INFORMATION


BENEFITS OF STORE & STAY

Your caravan will be sited on a pitch for you (booking required).

Your caravan will be placed into storage on your day of departure or left on site by prior arrangement.

Reduced fuel costs of towing your caravan.

PRICES

  • All units are charged at £60 per calendar month.
  • Whilst you are staying in your caravan on site you will be charged the daily touring tariff.
  • You will be required to use your caravan onsite for a minimum of 14 nights. If the minimum requirement is not met you will be charged the shortfall of nights not stayed on your October storage invoice.


Short term store and stay eg linking a couple of weekends together £3.00 per night left unoccupied.

TOWING IN/OUT CHARGE

  • For a stay of one night you will be charged a tow out fee of £10.00 . There is no tow out charge for a stay of two or more nights.
  • Removal of your caravan from our storage compound and park incurs a tow out charge of £10.00.


WINTER STORAGE

Winter Storage available from 1st November to 1st March subject to availability.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All persons using our store and stay will be required to complete and sign our store and stay licence agreement.        
  • Please note we are a store and stay facility and not just a storage compound. Therefore, you are required to occupy the caravan onsite for a minimum of 14 days during the current season (pro-rata)
  • Touring caravans must be maintained in a fully mobile and roadworthy condition and be of a standard befitting a five star park.
  • Locks, handbrake, legs, jockey wheel and towing gear must be kept in good order and regularly lubricated.
  • A set of keys for alarms and hitch locks must be clearly labelled and left with reception.
  • Arrival time is after 12.30 pm and departure time is before 11.00 am. Please report to reception on arrival and on departure.
  • All gas supplies must be isolated by turning the valve to off on all cylinders before your caravan can be stored.
  • If you are taking your caravan for a stay elsewhere or are removing from store and stay with us you must pay all outstanding balances before your caravan is released.
  • Dates you wish to stay must be pre-booked and a deposit of £30.00 paid to secure your booking. Please book early if you wish to stay in your caravan during bank holiday and school holiday periods as we do get busy and cannot guarantee you a pitch will be available at short notice. (01723859280)
  • We require at least 24 hours notice to bring your caravan out of storage.
  • Whilst we will always try to accommodate requests we cannot always guarantee a particular pitch.
  • The caravan remains your responsibility at all times and must be insured.
  • Caravans are stored entirely at the owners risk and The Vale of Pickering shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to the caravan or the contents thereof, howsoever caused, nor be under any obligation to take any steps whatsoever to protect the caravan or the said contents.
